Atelier Polyglotte opened in Gland in 2015 and has been welcoming children aged 3 to 15 all year round ever since. They are taught in small groups organised according to age and language level.

The school's director, Bettina Bobe Sylvén, and her husband have created a caring and dynamic environment where the emphasis is on immersion and communication, a method that makes students much less passive during class.

The Sylvéns are surrounded by a team of experienced and enthusiastic teachers who teach exclusively in their mother tongue, and share their educational, traditional and playful knowledge with the children.

At Atelier Polyglotte, senior staff and teachers all explore communication without automatically translating everything. Depending on the age of the student, they work on developing reading and writing skills in addition to providing intensive speaking practice. The school's method is also based on social interaction in groups, through educational games, crafts, music, cooking and physical expression (mime and gestures).
